Lost Landscapes: Reconnecting with Hong Kong Through Art in the UK

These digital artworks were actually completed over ten years ago. The original purpose was to document some of Hong Kong’s old buildings (all of which have since been demolished).

As this market event is centred around the theme of migration, I’ve decided to display them. It’s a way to connect with our background and share the real stories of Hong Kong with local people and fellow migrants. It also highlights the historical ties between the UK and Hong Kong.

Despite working across different time zones, from the UK to Hong Kong, we turned this challenge into an advantage, completing the project within an incredibly tight timeframe.
